I was informed two weeks ago that I had just inherited some property in the Lake Charles area of Louisiana. My grandfather passed away and he had willed me a house that he had owned there for many years. When I told my wife about this she told me she was unsure of how to feel. After a while we ended up having a Hurricane Discussion. She heard that when Katrina came through Louisiana that Lake Charles was affected in a big way. We had no intention of moving to Louisiana; however I wasn’t sure I wanted to sell the house outright either.
