The concept of exhausting earth’s supply of non-renewable resources has been around for many years like Earth 4 Energy. Scientists, politicans, and enviromentalists have worried about the effects of lack of resources versus loss of our electric-driven-lifestyles. Recently, these efforts have been placed on the backburner due to cheap and readily available fossil fuels. However, world events such as war and economics have returned these issues to the forefront of public debate. While to most Americans lack of oil/coal/gas is a “checkbook” issue, the enviromental impact in the last several decades has been staggering. As awareness increases for both aspects of non-renewable resouces the time is right to bring alternative energy sources into our homes.
