A Bigger Family Does Not Have to Mean Higher Electric Bills
When my husband and I got married we decided to have several children, eventually. But, within two years we welcomed twin boys. Somehow the four of us squeezed into our two-bedroom home. Then we found out we were expecting a second set of twins and knew we had to move. However, a bigger house also meant high energy bills. Both problems were solved when we found a four-bedroom, solar heated home at an excellent price. The house’s solar hot water panels are one way we keep our electric bills low. We have gotten so good at frugal living that the seven of us (including the dog) now live on almost the same budget we had when there were four.
